Our Managing Director

Jusceno Jacob MSc, BSc (Hons)

Jusceno Jacob received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad, and his Master of Science Degrees in Electrical Power Systems from the University of Manchester, England. He has 22+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer with the latter 15 years being focused on developing Renewable Energy (RE) and Energy Efficiency (EE) programs and solutions in the Caribbean region. Mr. Jacob has been the principal engineer responsible for the development and administration of Grenlec’s customer RE interconnection program from 2017 to 2022 – one of the first programs of its kind in the region. He played a key role in the design and implementation of Grenlec’s portfolio of RE and EE projects.

Mr. Jacob’s experience in the RE industry ranges from consultancy to resource assessment, project development, project management and implementation. He has worked in several countries in the region including Dominica, Jamaica, and Grenada. He has played leading roles in over 62 RE projects (over 1.8MWp of installed capacity), ranging from a 1.8kW wind-PV hybrid, to a 30kW micro hydro turbine to a 275kW ground mounted PV system. His goal is to help accelerate the adoption of Alternative Energy and EE technologies and maximize their environmental and economic benefits to individuals and society.
